Criminal Law

Circuit Court - Felonies & Misdemeanors

Felonies are offenses for which the maximum penalty is a prison sentence.  Misdemeanors are offenses for which the maximum penalty is a jail sentence.  Significant fines may attach to convictions for either type of offense.  A conviction for a crime can have adverse and devastating consequences well into the future.  Convictions for certain crimes can prohibit you from obtaining professional licenses or engaging in particular occupations.  When charged with any crime, it is important to obtain the assistance of experienced counsel to assist you in preparing all possible defense and preparing for all possible consequences.

Federal Court

Federal courts  have different rules and procedures than state and municipal courts.  The Government is not always right.  When facing the vast resources of the federal government, it is essential that you be represented by counsel who is prepared to ensure that your rights are protected.  At Schiro &Zarzynski, we will be there for you at each and every step of the process to stand up to the Government and fight for you.
